Seeing Red is an Indigenous-owned media company, based on Six Nations of the Grand River. We exist to amplify the voices and vision of established and emerging Indigenous storytellers through film and content increasing representation and cultural accuracy of Indigenous people in all forms of media.
Six Nations is a First Nations reserve located in southern Ontario, Canada. It is home to the Six Nations of the Grand River, which is made up of the Mohawk, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, Seneca, and Tuscarora people. The reserve is the largest reserve in Canada by population. The community has a rich cultural heritage and is known for its strong sense of identity and pride in their Indigenous traditions and customs. Six Nations Reserve is home to many notable people including Tom Longboat, Graham Green, Gary Farmer, Brandon Montour and many others that continue to make an impact in multiple sectors. Seeing Red Media is based on reserve, with a team of individuals from within the community. Our mission is to create a lasting impact and positive legacy within our community for our future generations.

Bryan Porter
From Six Nations of the Grand River, Bryan Porter is a true visionary who drives collaboration. As founder and Shakohén:te’s of Seeing Red, Bryan’s vision is dedicated to bringing authentic and impactful Indigenous stories to screens and homes worldwide by amplifying the representation, voices and vision of Indigenous storytellers.
Porter knows the arts are a powerful way to reach a global audience – to cleverly educate while entertaining. His creative lens as a writer, executive producer and creative director have been the catalyst to create the movement

from his own community of

Autumn Peltier is an International Indigenous Rights & Water activist and has made waves around the globe. Peltier captivated the world's attention at the age of 12 when she admonished Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, at an Assembly of First Nations event, for the choices he had made for her people. At 13, Peltier first spoke at the United Nations General Assembly. Amongst many accolade’s she's received the Sovereign Medal of Exceptional Volunteerism from the Governor-General of Canada and has been featured in Canada's TOP 50 PowerFigures by Macleans.
